About Being Martyr
Being Martyr was never supposed to be just another clothing brand.
It began over a decade ago in North London with a group of friends who simply wanted to dress on their own terms. We weren't interested in following trends or fitting neatly into someone else's idea of what was acceptable. Whether it was a club, a restaurant, a party or a bar, there was always an unspoken expectation of how you were supposed to look.
We chose something different.
We wore what represented us. We showed up as ourselves. Sometimes that meant standing out. Sometimes it meant not fitting in. We never saw that as a problem.
Looking back, that was the beginning of Being Martyr.
What started as a refusal to conform slowly became something much bigger. Over the years, the clothes became a reflection of a mindset.
Today, Being Martyr stands for devotion. Discipline. Conviction. Purpose. It's about committing yourself to something greater than comfort, convenience or approval. It's about choosing the harder path when you know it's the right one. It's about refusing to settle for the life that's expected of you and pursuing the one you're called to create.
Martyr dresses the process, not the celebration.
Because the celebration is fleeting. The early mornings, the late nights, the setbacks, the discipline, the sacrifices and the quiet consistency are what define you. Those are the moments that shape your character long before anyone applauds the result.
Our garments are made for people who carry that same mentality.

What we make
Our range is deliberately narrow. We would rather make a handful of pieces properly than flood a catalogue.
- Outerwear — the Hendrx Defekted denim jacket, the Blacksite waxed denim jacket in coated cotton, the Claymore in matte brown leather, and polar fleeces for colder months.
- Trousers — Mahogany runners, Kennel Club pants, Blacksite waxed jeans and matching Claymore leather trousers.
- Tracksets — MarlGrey, Yellowstone and EarthTone nylon sets, cut relaxed on top and tapered through the leg.
- Tops — heavyweight cotton jersey longsleeves in blue and orange stripe, the Waldorf longsleeve, and the Canary short-sleeve.
How we cut
Almost everything we make is unisex. Our tops run true to size for a relaxed fit, size up if you want a genuinely oversized drape. Tracksets pair a relaxed top with tapered joggers. Outerwear runs boxy and cropped rather than long.
We work in heavyweight cotton jersey, coated cotton denim and matte leather. These are fabrics that soften and mark with wear rather than fall apart. The waxed pieces develop a patina; that is the point of them.

We ship from the United Kingdom and price in pounds sterling, with local currency available at checkout for most countries. Orders typically leave us within two to three business days.
